About Us

Church of the Open Arms UCC gathers at 10:45 am on Sundays for worship at 3131 N. Pennsylvania in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Throughout the week, we have groups meeting for study, service and prayer. Choir rehearsal, ministry teams, Shalom ministries of peace and  justice, book studies, and fellowship opportunities are ways we support each other, embody our beliefs and dance with God.

We strive to follow in the reconciling ministry of Jesus as an inclusive, justice-seeking community. 

Our Denomination

Church of the Open Arms is a congregation of The United Church of Christ. The UCC came into being in 1957 as a union of other denominations. The denomination stresses responsible freedom, the priesthood of all believers, unity in essentials,diversity in nonessentials and in all things charity.
